Hi, I'm in need of some gear, and just wondered where I could go to buy it. I have found one in Ballinacurra, Eureka Army Surplus. Is there any other good shops. I'm looking for regular grunt boots and maybe some gloves. Maybe some green camo too, as ACU is "I See You"-gear in the summer Is there anywhere selling mechanics in Cork city btw?

Was there today. Great selection of DPM and Flecktarn. Some other patterns too, but not both trousers and jacket in all sizes. Even some old Norwegian(!) items. Most used sizes in boots and uniforms, 8-9 for boots and 180 cm medium uniforms are hard to find good items of. But just take your time, you might get lucky. What surprised me was a selection of police high-vis jackets and puillover blue jackets with Police still written on them
So now I have a new kit on it's way, DPM all the way. Well used too, guess I need to try to impregnate them, but just in case I threw in a goretex jacket too. They did not have a DPM vest though, just flakvests. To their defense they have both black mesh vests and black police vests. A good trip.

Althoug, be aware. They do not have any big plastic bags there, so I got myself a big box to haul all the stuff on the bus back to Cork..
